It is with great pride to announce
over $25,000 was raised for Hannah Baumann at the 4th Annual Starz Benefit Show “A Thing
Called Love”. It was overwhelming to see how generous every one was and words can not
express how much this meant to all involved. We have never seen a community come
together like this before and you could truly feel the love in the theater the day of
the show! There were so many comments, emails, phone calls and talk of the show but the
best comment was when Tami tucked Hannah in bed that night Hannah said she will always
remember all those faces looking back at her ......., and she said “mom there must have
been a lot of people there that loved me”!
We would like to start with a warm thanks to the Baumann Family for being strong and
courageous for Hannah and allowing her to continue her dream to dance, the wonderful
staff at the Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital as Hannah is now in remission, those who
volunteered their time to help set up and run such a great show and auction, all the
cash donators and Tim Welsh from Garco Construction for making the largest cash
donation, Mark Peterson for always supporting the Dance Emporium and Hannah, the dance
community for showing such support for a fellow dancer, Team Hannah dancers for the best
Finale yet, Mario Velez & Jake McWilliams you have touched our hearts, Dove Printing for
donating all printing expenses, Follger Photography for donating your time to catch such
memories, Starz dancers, parents, teachers and Dance Emporium staff for all of the hard
work, collecting donations, selling tickets, giving an outstanding performance but most
of all always being there for Hannah, her family and the DE family!
The Dance Emporium’s Director, Camille Camp, had a dream four years ago for her dancers
to “Make a Difference” in their community by raising money and dancing with a special
purpose. Her dream has definitely come true!
With much pride and thanks,
Dance Emporium’s Starz Performing Company
