Is the study of martial arts at the Defense Arts Academy a religion?

Although various aspects of the arts tend to strengthen character, it is not a religion. People from all types of religions study at the Defense Arts Academy. The study of martial arts at the Defense Arts Academy is based on modesty, perseverance, self-control and the development of an indomitable spirit.

Is there really such a thing as a 5 year old Black Belt?

Not at the Defense Arts Academy or any other school with a reasonable standard for Black Belt. Although standard guidelines have been established for Black Belt there is nothing that ensures schools follow them.

Do you have to register your hands when you become a Black Belt?

No, you don't have to register your hands. However, should you become involved in a fighting situation, the law does take into account your skill, size, and various other factors.
